Home Inspection

A home inspection is a visual inspection of the home and its accessible components on the day of the inspection. It includes checking the roof, foundation, structure, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, and other parts of the home. We look for any damage, defects, or repairs needed in these components and make a report.

Sewer Lateral Camera Inspection

A sewer lateral camera inspection is a visual examination of the sewer conditions and defects of a property using a specialized camera. Inspectors will examine and review your property’s sewer conditions. We look for common defects, like blockages, cracks, and other problems in your sewer laterals.

gas safety inspection

Gas Safety Inspection

A gas safety check involves a Gas Safe Registered engineer checking all your gas appliances to make sure they’re working as they should. The full inspection involves checking the appliances for gas tightness, the standing and working pressure if test points are available, the burner pressure/gas rate against the manufacturer’s data plate, the satisfactory provision of all necessary ventilation.

Radon testing inspection

Radon Gas Inspection

A radon gas inspection involves testing the air in your home for radon gas. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer. The test is usually done with a small device that sits in your home for a few days and then is sent to a lab for analysis. The test will measure the level of radon in your home and determine if it is above the recommended level.

Termite damage found during pest inspection

Pest and Termite Inspection

A pest and termite inspection are specialized inspections that look for creatures that may inhabit or actively destroy your home. A pest inspection can include termites, rodents, spiders, carpenter ants or bees, and stinging insects. A termite inspection entails a professional pest inspector completing a visual pest and termite inspection of all accessible and available areas of a property for the presence of active termites and/or termite damage.

Fireplace inspection

Fireplace Inspection

A fireplace inspection is an evaluation of your fireplace’s condition and safety. A fireplace inspector will look in your chimney and fireplace to see if there are any structural problems, blockages, damage, or chemical buildup. During a Level 1 inspection, a technician provides an examination of the fireplace and chimney to look for basic soundness of the structure and see that there are no obstructions in the chimney. The technician will check on gas connections, dampers, and other appliance parts of the fireplace to make sure they are in good condition.

HVAC Inspection

HVAC Inspection

An HVAC inspection typically includes inspecting the condition of your HVAC appliances, testing safety controls, testing for problematic airflow through the home, inspecting components of blower, checking refrigerant pressure, testing gas piping and pressure, testing heat pump heating mode and defrost cycle, and inspecting the condensate drain for clogs and blockages.
