Am ready to change out the existing hot water heater as it is 10 years old. I was told this Apollo system required a special hot water heater, looking at the existing it looks like any other one that I have seen. Looking for clarification & a possible installer.

am trying to figure out why my utility bill is higher than last year, even though i am not around most of the time this year. I think I left my water heater at HOT (that is the middle setting i think), for most of Dec-Jan , but now I have turned it to LOW when I am out of the home. The thermostat was mostly at 58F during the night and day, but at times 64-68F. So wondering which is costing me more..

I live in an area with very hard water, and have had to replace two water heaters in 6 years due to sediment buildup. If I were to put in a whole-house water softening system, would that solve / reduce the hot water heater sediment problem? (That would not be the only reason for installing the water softener.) Thanks.

My uncle is plumbing my new house, though he is not a qualified plumber and I am abit curious to say the least about this baker’s system manifold that he has came up with for the underfloor heating. Can someone please explaing this what it should look like and what functions it should have..If even such a thing.. Just so I can go back to him and ask questions when he comes back…if he comes back…;
