I have spoken to a couple retailers in the area and I can’t get a straight answer. I’m looking at 1500-1800 square foot homes and I want to know the cost of all the things like foundation, instillation, transportation, plumbing and electric hook ups and the house. Any info to help educate myself would be appreciated.

i just installed 2 brand new Price Pfister single handle pressure balanced showers along with all new Pex plumbing and all new fixtures in my house. i have great water pressure everywhere except both of the tub/shower units.
What could be the problem? could both valves be bad? the water literally dribbles out of them. Anyone know what i can check or do? thanks

$2,500 for tub replacement, new plumbing, ceiling vent fan/light, and installation of 3 regular ceiling fans in different rooms (obviously). I am supplying the tub and fans, the quote is for labor and misc. materials and removal of old fixtures etc. I understand the cost varies depending on the location. I am in New York state (not New York city) if that helps.

How do I go about trying to persuade the owner to bring down the price. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed in the house. Do you think that once the inspection is done that the home owner would have to fix. Them in order to sell. Right? I have lived here for 3 years but renting. Now I love the house but to pay over a hundred thousand dollars with these repairs looking at me is kinda rediculous!

I just went and looked at a home from the mcbreo.com website today, and it seems to be a great little house. It’s only listed for 31k! Last sold a few years ago for 144k. I talked to one of the neighbors, and he said that a lot of people have been looking at this house. Does it make sense to put in an offer higher than the asking price? Will other people be doing this? I will, of course, look into an inspection and all of that, but for now, I just want to know what anyone thinks about making an offer. THANKS!
