Do your walls seem dull and uninviting? Are a person who always desires about a posh living room? Consider interesting wall painting techniques, like sponging, ragging, stenciling or stamping? Even if you have no experience, you can brighten even the dullest room quickly and cheaply with one of the below mentioned simple decorative wall painting techniques.
Before painting your room, pick out a color scheme for your walls. When you chose your paint, remember that many painting techniques use two shades of one color. If you are using one of the techniques that does use two shades of color, you can pick a darker color than you normally would chose for your base color, since the lighter top color will make the final result much lighter.
To sponge or rag a wall, paint the base color first and let it dry fully. Dip your sponge or rag in the top coat shade then and sponge or drag it across until you like the result. You have keep going this way until it’s done fully.
If you are considering using a decorative painting technique such as stenciling or stamping, you might just need to give a wall paper effect usingstamping or stenciling a simple design over your base coat. Also if you want to go more further with your designing and utilize stencils or stamps to create a faux brick or stone wall do the following. To start with, paint the color of your choice for the mortar between the bricks or stones. After it becomes dry, stamp or stencil your bricks or stones over the base coat. Once the brick or stonework is dry, sprinkle little darker color over your faux art as it makes it look more realistic by giving it the dept factor.Doing faux effects like giving the look to your wall like it’s made off plaster or suede can also really make your room stand out. Some paint bases give the look of suede or textured effect naturally, which a method even artists use these days.

I just had this experience for the first time and I just wondered why it happened.
I have eaten pineapple from the can but for some reason, after I tasted the freshly cut one, it made my lips and tounge itch.
My bf is the same way with peaches and plumbs

George Bush Sr.,George Jr.,Bill and Hillary Clinton.
The damage they did, they are doing and plan on doing will be the end of the USA.
Like an old bathrooms plumbing that is in total disray,it’s time to rip it all out and start anew.

tighten them.
This first one I have always tightened with my hands but it always eventually starts leaking again. Do I just need someone stronger to do it or do I need an actual tool. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff81/…
The next one I desperately need to know how to tighten. I don’t know if you can tell from the picture, but this is the underneath that is connected to the faucet. The whole faucet moves around when we turn the water on and off. What type of tool, and exactly HOW do I go about tightning this thing??http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff81/…
Thanks guys!

What is your opinion about ‘Steel kit homes’ versus already built properties? EG..Electricity and plumbing..also we would have solar panels and water tanks as we live in a hot, tropical environment and would have advanced well-placed trees for insulation. We have to buy the land then build upon it….What do you all see as the pros and cons of this? Thank you.(I know there are plenty of cons..telephone,council approval, site, soil etc..but still wondering..is it really cheaper or worth the trouble..we are used to living rough .)

While my husband was deployed in 07-08, My 2 1/2 year old climbed the baby gate to the bathroom, climbed up the heater to the window seal and got an un-opened box of hair dye. She then took it to her 18 month old brothers room opened it and after smelling it gave it to my son. I heard the coughing and went back there, I screamed when I was what had happened, thank god my besstie was here we called the ambulance and went to the hospital, my baby boy was in ICU for 3 days and they were going to send my husband home from Iraq (we decided to wait till leave, son was ok keeping him there was just a precaution). Anyways my bestie kept my daughter and I stayed at the hospital till he was released. When I came home I was horrified to see that the bottle of dye had seeped through the rug INTO the floor, We have tried for a year to get it up, but its not budging. I’m e-roding in 29 days and have my inspection coming up, OMG. We have been in this apartment for 2 1/2 years and I know at 3 years they re-paint walls and redo the floors, (in other words after each family). I just wanted to know since 2 1/2 years is not 3, what are our chances of being landed with the bill to redo that floor?
We are in Germany which means we’d have to pay euro and from past people who messed the floors up who were only here a year I know each 3ft by 4ft tile cost 600 euro to replace. It’s only one tile but man thats a lot of money. (890 U.S. dollars as a matter of fact).
It’s still on record of what happened, do you think they may give us a sympathy release for the floor?

Hi.
I had a washing machine installed 4 months ago but after 3 months we noticed a leak. It had been dripping for 3 months so obviously it wasn’t noticed straight away and then only by accident. it has ruined the floor beneath the the washing machine and the kitchen cupboard beside it has swollen and split. the wall behind has gone black with the damp. We rang them as soon as we could and without even coming out to look at the damage we had a letter back saying they had spoken to the driver and he said it was ok when he left so they wouldn’t be taking further! Obviously he would say that. I wasn’t going to leave it there so i rang again and they again said they would look into it more. That was a weeks ago. Im getting the feeling that they won’t do anything about it. I need to contact the best people if i can’t get anywhere. Does anyone know who i can contact if things don’t turn out in my favour. Many Thanks Ann

Neocons are akin to those who go round terrorizing the elderly people in their own homes. One example after watching a documentary on this, which reminded me of those Neocons and I just had to mention this on here, is how after allowing these despicable con artists into you’re home, they won’t hesitate on going to work you by throwing dangerous sounding words and terminologies your way. These Neocons will tell you how after a brief inspection, you and your home are doomed, how the little crack in the wall outside will one day cause them to collapse, thus the roof to cave in on you? Scary! If that wasn’t bad enough, they even go as so far to tell you that if you do not spend thousands upon thousands doing the right thing, that is, give them you’re hard earned cash for nothing, that you will surely die an early death, only due to your own negligence and failure to listen.
