The previous owner installed a Jacuzzi tub in a second floor bathroom they created out of a bedroom. This past weekend we ripped out ceiling below the bathroom to find out the floor was never reinforced to support the weight of the tub. What is the best way to reinforce the floor holding the tub up? The beams are about 3″x8″ but they’ve all had 3″ holes drilled in them to run all the plumbing so they aren’t as strong as the previously were. The house is at least 100 years old if not more. Please help me I don’t know what to do and I really don’t want the tub crashing through the floor like in The Money Pit. Thank you in advance :)

was going to buy this home and after inspection we found stair step cracks on exterior wall the property is bank owned so im hoping either bank pays for it or there is still some type of warranty since home is only 3yrs old

I am used to taking off a cap of the front of the handle to access a screw, so you can take apart the handle and replace washers, o-rings or whatever. There is no way to get this handle apart. The center of the handle has a small hole that looks like an allen wrench could fit into. I tried a allen wrench and nothing catches inside the handle to loosen. Any ideas how to remove or repair these old florida tub faucets.
