i have this lil thing in my basement. sounds like the pipes settling as you can kinda hear them thud for a split second a few times a day. no one is using any plumbing and nothing is being used and they STILL make the “boom boom” noise. got any ideas,peeps?

My husband came back from work around 3am and at 6am when I woke up, the car was gone. The car is a lease and the contract ended in August. We have been paying the car until then, except for the Sept. payment so we are late on that one. Our intentions were to keep the car and pay it the the cash out we were going to get from the refi of our homes but now we cannot refi because the situation is very sticky in that market and they are requiring us to have more income to get approved (funny, we already have a mortgage on this house, we are not buying a new one!). Anyway, we don’t have the cash to buy out the car.
Can they come to your house in the middle of the night and repo it without notifying you? They never called and the only mail we got was about taking the car to the dealer for an inspection, and this was two months ago. What is the situation? Are we screwed up? What are our options? Should we try to get the car buy (we would have to finance the residual)? Get another one?

When you get home he wants to do a little underwear inspection. if you really weren’t hiding anything whats the big deal?

I woke up at night to go to the bathroom and found a mouse in the toilet? Yes, it was alive!!! I like to know if this mouse could have climbed through the plumbing? please someone let me know?

Can someone tell me what is wrong with my water heater?? It has been making a buzzing noise all night and today. Yesterday the power went out but I don’t think that would cause it. I unplugged it quickly and the noise stopped. Once I plugged it back in the noise continued. Help?

The water heater is fine during the day, however, when I go down to the garage in the morning, the relief valve has released a large amount of water all over the floor. I know it’s the relief valve because I have placed a container below the pipe for the water to drain into. Any suggestions?
