Can I Unclog A Slow Drain Myself?

I’ve tried drano and drano like products but nothing has worked. I’m pretty handy but my plumbing experience is limited to changing out hardware. Is there a tool I can rent/buy or another method that I don’t know of. Not many tasks around the house are too big for me and I’m trying to save money

I’ve had to do plumbing, and electrical and I had to break into my own apartment because she was at a bar and my pregnant wife needed to take her medication so she would not get sick and I needed to make us dinner.

Can I Change A Bathroom Faucet Myself?

Does it take any special plumber tools? I am very mechanically inclined but I know that in some plumbing jobs it takes special tools. I want to changing a basic 4″ bathroom vanity faucet. Anyone have some pointers out there? Or should I call a plumber?

Honestly this is a job for a proffesional> you must to have the right kind of sink with an extra hole in it or drill a 1 1/4 hole in the tile. A Garbage disposal+ an electrican to install the switch! There is also cabnit work too. You will need a multioutlet hot water valve,an air gap thats the vent on the top of the sink.copper water lines, two defferent size rubber hose,.4 clamps for the discharge. All and all this is not a job for a novice

It will be right next to the sink.

I want to build a treehouse w/ a deck and plumbing for a low cost. This will be with plywood and wood w/ concrete as the base.

Im selling my home. The pre inspection sheet lists 6 windows with dry rot and fungus. Do I need to hire a licensed tech or can I do the work myself?

have tiny bathroom from 1950’s with soap/toothbrush individual tile on wall.(not pressed against tile but is a tile insert.need to remove so new height of sink.vanity/faucets are free and clear.know how 2 replace an individual tile but don’t know how 2 remove old one.the wall i think is plasterboard.read sites instructing a razor cut or using hammering off(ohhh scare of that)so help diy people.a simple chore im sure but need help 2 do.

We recently bought a house and the water heater (located inside the house) doesn’t have a pan underneath it. I’ve been told it would be easiest just to have the pan added when we replace the heater, but the heater is only 3 years old, so I don’t anticipate replacing it anytime soon. Is there an easy way that we can put the pan under it ourselves, or will we need a plummer to come unhook the whole thing and move it to add a pan?
