We keep running out of hot water… even this morning… I ran out after only being in the shower about 15 minutes, and I was the first in the family to shower… shouldn’t it last longer than that?
So… how long should the hot water last? Please provide a source for your answer.
Thanks!

What could be the cause of this, the water heater is never running when I check it which is now 10 times a day at least. Im confused. The basement where the water heater is located is kept at about 60 degrees but i don’t think this could have an effect.

We bought an older home in Alaska recentl. We had an inspection done but it didn’t list any of what we are finding now. At least two exterior walls are rotting, the bathroom floors need to be replaced and I have just found this morning that the drywall under the stairs is rotting and I’m sure we will find much more before long. Is there anything we can do and if not where is the best place to start? Again, we live in Alaska and winter will soon be upon us.

My husband came back from work around 3am and at 6am when I woke up, the car was gone. The car is a lease and the contract ended in August. We have been paying the car until then, except for the Sept. payment so we are late on that one. Our intentions were to keep the car and pay it the the cash out we were going to get from the refi of our homes but now we cannot refi because the situation is very sticky in that market and they are requiring us to have more income to get approved (funny, we already have a mortgage on this house, we are not buying a new one!). Anyway, we don’t have the cash to buy out the car.
Can they come to your house in the middle of the night and repo it without notifying you? They never called and the only mail we got was about taking the car to the dealer for an inspection, and this was two months ago. What is the situation? Are we screwed up? What are our options? Should we try to get the car buy (we would have to finance the residual)? Get another one?

Please explain the meaning of the last sentence. I’m translating the condom how-to-use
Throw away the used condom in the trash. Do not throw away in the toilet. {The last thing you want plugging your plumbing is used condoms}
Can any one help? Thanks a lot.

My latest estimate was 27% mostly in urban areas.
Since most of the US population is made up of peasant farmers and serfs working for the Bush or Cheney families.
It’s no suprise there are still many in rural America without running water or electricity.

ok so i was supposed to be closing on a home today but yesterday at the very last moment countrywide called me and said that since i make the majority of my salary from commission that they were not going to approve the loan. i was to say the least devastated. from the very beginning i told the person i spoke to how much was my base pay and how much i make with commision. i faxed over pay stubs that reflected that as well, and now after i have paid 350 for an appraisal and 180 for an inspection they are rejecting the loan. are they allowed to get away with such an act? i am currently attempting to go through colonial to see if they can work with me. the person processing my loan asked for a verification fax from my job, when she got that fax she said we cant approve this loan. this after i sent her my pay stubs. what options do i have at this point?

Our plumbing decided to freak out this year and we had a spate of three water damage claims. Our insurance company have now said they will not renew our policy and I can’t find any companies who will even quote us. This is surely something a lot of people have happen, so who do they go to?
We are in the UK, so any details would be gratefully received.
Thanks guys
