Home inspectors always seem to find some evidence of mold and refer buyers to another company. They charge buyers even more money and always find mold. The truth is mold is everywhere! True “toxic mold” is very, very rare.

Two days ago my Short-Billed Corella Cockatoo looked strange & under closer inspection i noticed there was blood under his wing so i took him to the vet & they removed a feather that had stuck into him.
Since ive had him home he hasnt made one noise (he is usually very loud!) & he hasnt drunk or eaten anything.
Whats wrong with him?

my washing machine is in a space that is very visible in the house. For now, I’d rather cover it with something nice (not tacky vinyl covers that I’ve found online) since having the plumbing re-routed isn’t my most feasible option (I don’t think…). Suggestions?

I have been told that in order to properly air this home you need 2 zones at least. The inspection on the home states all items are code per NC code and that there is only one issue concerning the HVAC. Unit is not producing an adequate air temperature drop. The normal is 15-20 degrees total difference between return air and supply air. It tested it 10 degrees difference.

My kitchen sink fills with water if the garbage disposal isnt constanly running while the faucet is on. I replaced the garbage disposal and that didnt help. I also checked to make sure the trap was clean. What else could it be?

This morning I found that for some reason my toilet tank isnt filling any longer with water and that also my kitchen sink is no longer letting out hot water. For the bathroom its weird because all the other faucets are working(bathtub,sink). And also in the kitchen the cold water in the sink is working. I thought it might be a frozen pipe, but that doesnt explain why the cold water in the kitchen is still working. Same goes for the bathroom. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
