I need to know how much the heater is, too.

Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay to have a tankless water heater installed?
I had a plumber out today and asked him and he gave me a verbal quote of $3000-$4000 which I thought was rediculusly high. I’ve estimated on my own the cost of the heater needed is pretty low, between $600 and $900 so based on the quote I was given they’re talking 30-40 hours of labor to install?
Basically, all that needs to be done from what he said is a new larger gas line run to where the water heater is which would be about 10 feet and then new vent ducting to the roof which is about 30 feet. And if I go with the bosch 1600H there’s no need for electricity since the water flow provides the power for the ignition.

I was ready to have tankless water heater installed by one company, but when i had the other plumber over for estimate, he said that we have to change the gas line to 3/4″ pipe to install tankless water heater. Who is right?

Thinking about getting myself an above ground pool.. Just wondering what things will be involved in installing it (heating/plumbing etc)..
The pool will be outside, around 20 metres from the back door..
Just requiring some basic information in installing, and also, a cost.

I am building a kitchen in what is currently an unfinished basement suite in my house.
How important is the actual placement of the sink and dishwasher as they relate to the water supply lines and drains?
The kitchen upstairs is on the same wall (west side of the house) but the kitchen downstairs will be about 20 feet to the left of the one upstairs. Is it easy to run the water lines over there? What do I need to keep in mind when planning my cupboards/sink location? Is there a vent somewhere that I need to work around? If I buy the cabinets and appliances and install everything, could any plumber hook up, re-route and create water supply and plumbing/drains to match where I put everything?
The walls are already insulated and drywalled, but I can rip it off to deal with lines and drains if need be . The ceiling is finished with rectangular tile things, so access should be no problem that way either. What all do I need to consider before buying cabinets and planning design?

i can do basic plumbing but i have never installed an air hammer arrester the house i now live in just started the loud noise in the plumbing pipes . why would it just start it never did it before
