I am staying in Kuala Lumpur (Cheras Area). I wish to purchase a water heater - brand whirlpool. I have one that I am currently using and it is very good but purchase thru Amway. But Amway is no longer promoting this product. Anyone have idea where can I find this brand of water heater?

We moved into a brand new home last Saturday which is on city sewer. Sunday morning when my son took a shower the water started coming up through the master shower and all the toilets were gurgling and wouldn’t flush and drained very slowly. Monday the plumber was called and he stuck the snake down and got everything to drain. That evening I was doing dishes and I went to drain the water and the same thing happened again. The plumber was called once again and he got everything to drain. Friday night I took a shower and the toilets gurgled and now everything is backed up again. The water will drain a little bit, but only enough to flush the toilets like two times and then none of the toilets in the house will flush. We have searched for a drain clean-out outside, but can’t find it.The house is brand new and hooked to city sewer. We haven’t stuck paper towels or tampons or anything that would stop it up. I am getting very frustrated and am wanting to know what might be the problem. Any suggestions?

I have a Crane Plumbing brand plastic (or plastic seeming) toilet that I would like to remove, but I am unsure how to do it. I’ve searched online, but have found no help. I have already undone the screws holding it to the floor. There was never caulking around around the base when we moved in, so that is not the reason. I would like to look at the pipes because there is a really bad clog that will not come undone. I have no money for either a toilet auger, or a plumber, so taking it apart is my only option. Every other method has failed & the toilet has been this way for three days. I am hoping someone can tell me how to take up the toilet so that I can unclog the pipe manually.
Thanks.

I recently purchased a pink nintendo DS lite for $129 for my 5 year old daughter at Fry’s Electronics at the E La Palma store in Anaheim CA. The DS package was a little banged up but was inside a security box and also had plastic straps so I thought nothing of the condition of the packaging. When I got home to open the DS package I found a USED white nintendo DS lite instead of the brand new pink DS lite that the package was supposed to have. I hurriedly went back to Fry’s to ask why they sold me a USED nintendo DS (the DS had wear marks, scratches, and smudges) and ask for a replacement. The CS and the manager told me it was IMPOSSIBLE that this could happen and looked at me like I was CRAZY!!! Indeed, this store should have a better product inventory inspection system to ensure that this doesn’t happen to their customers. NOW I AM STUCK WITH A USED NINTENDO DS LITE WHEN I PAID FOR A BRAND NEW ONE AND DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO GET MY MONEY BACK. BUYERS BEWARE OF FRY’S!!!

My daughter flushed 20 or so Qtips down our brand new toilet/bathroom….this is a 2 month old house….so everything else with the plumbing is fine. I have tried a plunger, drano max, an auger which pulled out 5 Qtips….and a snake it……..
What else can I try before spending money on a plumber?

My plumber says Delta, but the woman at the plumbing supply place says American Standard or Kohler. We have a Moen in another bath that seems to be working well.

I just bought a new ge smart water heater - manufactured in 4/07. Everything is set up but I think there is air in the gas line. Does anyone know how to force the gas through to the pilot?

My offer was accepted on a brand new condo… my real estate agent said I needed to get a home inspection within the next ten days, supposedly it’s mandatory???! but wouldn’t the condo’s already have an inspection to make sure they are ok to be sold? I thought all brand new constructions had to be inspected before hand ( before being sold to buyers). This is an extra 400 dollars I could be saving. Can someone help me understand why I would need this or not?? Is it the law to have one done??? Thank You!

I’ve had two now that have the same washer/lubricant problem and frankly, it’s getting old. Is this their trademark? What brand should I get to replace this piece of junk??
