My bathroom plumbing is over 40 y.o. The tub won’t drain and I tried to use a wire hanger thinking it was just clogged with hair.Under the crossed drain I’m hitting metal so, I’m thinking the drain lever is broken and stuck in the closed position.

The features and qualities of walk-in showers are leaving people in curiosity in terms of their distinction from other types of bathroom showers. The unique and practical advantages of walk-in showers are incomparable. Style is another big advantage of a walk-in shower as compared to the conventional type of showers Most people who remodel their bathrooms have issues with incorporating showers with the size and design of the bathrooms although this is not the case with the use of walk-in showers. The designs and styles of walk-in showers are most suitable for people who prefer to reflect a classy and contemporary look to their bathrooms. Even if you have a small bathroom, it would not be a problem to install walk-in showers as they can provide a more spacious area regardless of their style or design.

How Do You Turn Off The Water Valve To A Bathtub?

We had a semi-major plumbing issue that we had to have our water turned off to our house for over 24 hours. Well when we turned the water back on we had a lot of sand come through the faucets. And in our son’s bathroom the bathtub won’t stop running. It’s not a drip its a constant flow. And in other parts of our house the water pressure is low? Our plumbing issue was out in front of our house. A pipe came loose under our driveway. Help please!!

How To Clean The Bathtub?

The water from the shower is turning the tub near the drain a reddish color. WHat is it from and how can i keep it clean? It doesn’t seem to be happening in any of the sinks or anything. We do, however, have multiple plumbing problems in our apartment/duplex.

I have been reading a lot of Katie Fforde books and it seems all her character’s bathtubs have immersion heaters. The only immersion heater I am familar with is a little coil that is plugged in and stuck in a mug of water to heat it up. I can’t imagine that is how it works for a bathtub.
On a side note, I find it interesting that in the English books I read, the characters only take showers if that is all that is available. In America, only kids take baths on a regular basis - adults take showers. Is the plumbing that different or is it just a cultural thing?

Hooking Up A Portable Washer To A Bathtub Spout?

I would like to use my portable washer in the bathroom. Under the old bathtub spout there is a threaded piece sticking out that is capped. Maybe for a hand held shower attachment at some point? I don’t know anything about plumbing. :) Is it possible to hook up the quick connect adapter for the washer to this instead of the kitchen sink?
