Here is the situation…I have 2 bathrooms - one in the basement, one on the second floor. On the basement toilet, there was a slight drip coming from a valve on the supply line running to the toilet tank. Not a big deal, it was fixed fairly easily. When I went to use the upstairs toilet later on in the day, the tank wouldn’t re-fill. The water supply to the 2nd floor toilet doesn’t work. I have running water from the sink & shower on the second floor, just not the toilet. The flex pipe from the supply pipe to the toilet tank was removed, and still no water was coming through this pipe. Seems like there may be a blockage, but could it have anything to do with having the water shut off earlier in the day? The timing of this seems pretty weird. Anyone have an experience like this? we have a leaking faucet problem in our house.

Description of problem:
Warm water faucet in sink is dropping/leaking every 30 seconds
when I turn on the warm water faucet of the adjacent bath tub the pipes underneath the house are banging very loudly and the faucet in the sink is now having running water despite that it is closed.
If I close the faucet of the sink via the shut of valve the banging stops.
Yeap, we thought about permanently closing the warm water supply to the sink but that shouldn’t be the answer
