This is for my hubby - he is a joiner at present but wants a change in career and fancies plumbing. Does anyone know how long it would take to be a fully trained plumber. He is already starting a two year plumming course over two nights a week. But I have a feeling there’s quite a few levels before your fully qualified?

heater in my apartment. i touch it and i can feel it bubbling. i don’t understand because it should have nothing to do with my heat, right? will i blow up? i don’t have any hot water on at all. why? i’m scared i am going to blow up!

We now all know that he doesn’t even have a plumbing license, and he owes tax money, I don’t think it is right to have all his personal business out there by the media .. GREAT GOING MCCAIN! Way to put down your supporters.

Can it be found in well water? as a material for residential building/plumbing?

I have spoken to a couple retailers in the area and I can’t get a straight answer. I’m looking at 1500-1800 square foot homes and I want to know the cost of all the things like foundation, instillation, transportation, plumbing and electric hook ups and the house. Any info to help educate myself would be appreciated.

Here is the situation…I have 2 bathrooms - one in the basement, one on the second floor. On the basement toilet, there was a slight drip coming from a valve on the supply line running to the toilet tank. Not a big deal, it was fixed fairly easily. When I went to use the upstairs toilet later on in the day, the tank wouldn’t re-fill. The water supply to the 2nd floor toilet doesn’t work. I have running water from the sink & shower on the second floor, just not the toilet. The flex pipe from the supply pipe to the toilet tank was removed, and still no water was coming through this pipe. Seems like there may be a blockage, but could it have anything to do with having the water shut off earlier in the day? The timing of this seems pretty weird. Anyone have an experience like this? Thanks!

my trailer has been repaired a number of times.the floors are rotting in different areas. the plumbing has started acting up and breaking. I have a son & family have been here for 2 years and wiring is starting to go bad. when i was younger I could fix these things . but this trailer so old it still has a green sink in the bathroom. we need a 4 bedroom, as this trailer has2. we have lot a lot of bad luck the last 2 years could someone show me what to do or where I can get help.

did anyone have to pay a service charge for a rental water heater when you don’t won’t it anymore from the company that rent it to you ? I think this is not right it is there heater they should come & pick it up & take it away anyone else have this problem.
