I’m plumbing a new shower spa system (Moen 263ORB) and have a question about what to do when two of the copper pipes overlap on the same plane. How do I get one pipe to cross over another? I have taken a picture and marked it with what I want to do. Any help would be really appreciated.http://jodianderic.com/help.jpg

We were pre-approved, found a house, had the offer accepted, gave earnest money, secured home owners insurance, had the appraisal which came back fine, had the inspection, had our verfication of employment, verification of bank, title work was ordered, and it was sent to underwriting yesterday. We are uing a mortgage company and are working with the branch manager, both her and the loan processor said we are approved and not to worry about it and that their loans are locally processed, underwritten, and closed by their company. They also told us that they only pull credit and verify everything once. Is this true? I thought the underwriters had to do that, or is every mortgage company different?i have heard it can fall through in underwriting. What are the chances of this?

Ok, so this really pretty girl thinks I’m really handy because I was able to tighten her curtain rod thingo in her bedroom. Was easy as. I tightened the screw when I was waiting for her to get out of the shower with a 5 cent coin. I was bored.
So now she thinks I’m one of those dudes who can fix anything. So she asked me if I knew how to fix leaking taps. I haven’t got a clue how to do it and I have to do it this afternoon. Reckon I should just tell her I can’t or should I try and wing it and figure out how to stop it leaking while I go?

We are already getting an inspection done on the house on Wednesday. We hope it will pass. We have qualified for a loan. What do we have to do to get the papers drawn up? What do we need to know to make sure that we are not taken advantage of? We do not have a buyers agent because I am teacher going to grad school and my fiancee works in a factory and is probably returning to college soon. We know that the offer needs to be contigent on fiancing, appraisal, clean tittle and passing an inspection. We are getting a First Time Home Buyers loan.
Thank you for your help. The process is very scary.

tighten them.
This first one I have always tightened with my hands but it always eventually starts leaking again. Do I just need someone stronger to do it or do I need an actual tool. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff81/…
The next one I desperately need to know how to tighten. I don’t know if you can tell from the picture, but this is the underneath that is connected to the faucet. The whole faucet moves around when we turn the water on and off. What type of tool, and exactly HOW do I go about tightning this thing??http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff81/…
Thanks guys!

Hi,
I have a quick question and I would really appreciate if you guys can help out.
I went to my old home and I heard some noise in the bathroom. The water in the toilet was bubbling. I flushed the toilet and it’s not going down and the water in the toilet is rising.
I took out water from the toilet and poured in the shower. It took a while for it go down from there. I went downstairs and noticed there was a slight leak underneath the shower.
I left and came back after 2 hours. I flushed the toilet, still same problem, toilet rising. But water is going down the shower fine. I turned on the shower water and went downstairs and I didn’t spot any leak but the toilet water was bubbling as the shower water was on.
What does that mean?
Thanks for all the help.

The LARK program
THE LARK PROGRAM
A Lady liberal wrote a lot of letters to the White House complaining about the treatment of a captive insurgent (terrorist) being held in Guantanamo Bay
She received back the following reply:
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C. 20016
Dear Concerned Citizen,
Thank you for your recent letter roundly criticizing our treatment of the Taliban and Al Quada detainees currently being held at Guantanamo Bay,Cuba.
Our administration takes these matters seriously and your opinion was heard loud and clear here in Washington.
You’ll be pleased to learn that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like yourself, we are creating a new division of the Terrorist Retraining Program, to be called the “Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers” program, or LARK
for short.
In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided to place one terrorist under your personal care.
Your personal detainee has been selected and scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence next Monday.
Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud (you can just call him Ahmed) is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint. It will likely be necessary for you to hire some assistant caretakers.
We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are commensurate with those you so strongly recommended in your letter.
Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his “attitudinal problem” will help him
overcome these character flaws.
Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences. We understand that you plan to offer counseling and home schooling.
Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers.
We advise that you do not ask him to demonstrate these skills at your next yoga group. He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless (in your opinion) this might offend him.
Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters (except sexually), since he views females as a subhuman form of property. This is a particularly sensitive subject for him and he has been known to show violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the new dress code that he will recommend as more appropriate attire.
I’m sure you will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka — over time.
Just remember that it is all part of “respecting his culture and his religious beliefs” — wasn’t that how you put it?
Thanks again for your letter. We truly appreciate it when folks like you keep us informed of the proper way to do our job. You take good care of Ahmed - and remember, we’ll be watching.
Good luck!
Cordially, your friend,
GEORGE W. BUSH

I need to know if when replacing an electric water heater thermostat with a screw compatible one (not exactly the same thermostat). Do I have to worry about the ground and power wires going into the right place or can they be reversed without problem. If you don’t know the difference between these wires and want to tell me it is AC and symetrical please refrain from answering. It is about the thermostat at the bottom of the water heater, not the one with the Reset button.

The house has mold problems the & previous owners had to move out. Now it is on the market & the price is approximately half of what it would be if it had no mold. As far as I’ve learned, there are no other problems such as foundation, roof, electrical or plumbing that could be considered as costly repairs. The appliances will need updating and electrical fixtures also. The bathrooms also need updating. I don’t know the source of the mold and can’t seem to find out. The lender now owns the property because the original owners could not keep it and do the repairs required by law. What do I do to correct the mold problem if I purchase the house & will I need bio hazard people to get involved? What will be my cost for this? I’m new at flipping with some building experience & do not want to make costly mistakes. I don’t want to be discourged but helped with a solution. I was sick & could not maintain my job. Now my family & I need this job. At 54 it is extremely difficult to get a new job.
