My husband cracked the tank part of the toilet after he tighten down new plumbing supplies “guts” in to it b/c it was running . Do we need to replace the tank or is there some type of glue that we can put on the little crack?

how or with what materials do I support the opening? The proposed hole location is clear of any electrical or plumbing lines.

Just a few notes:
1. We live in Illinois and there’s a ton of ice everywhere… however, we looked outside and saw no ice chunks laying around.
2. Our home had a fire before we moved in. It was cleaned and inspected afterwards, and given the OK to live in.
It almost sounds like something really heavy has fallen on the floor upstairs… it’s pretty scary sounding and we’re slightly worried. We had a home inspection before we moved in…..We’ve lived here 3 months.

HELLLPPPP!!!! I have just found out that my plumbing is backing up in my house, and we only JUST got dish detergent, after 1.5 days w/o it. My kitchen is a mess, and my house was up for a big cleaning today, but now I can’t use my water, and the plumber will be here in about 3 hours.
I know this sounds like a wacky situation, and one you’d never be in, but I’m desperate for some help. Please, offer any and all relevant advice.

Something is wrong with my plumbing but I am not sure what. My husband said it may be our “stump-pump.” There is NO QUESTION that I will have to have the problem corrected and sewage taken out from under my house.
I don’t know what to ask them about services, costs, certification and so on. Any ideas would be helpful.

EARLIER I HAD TWO MORE PARTNERS BY NAME LUQUEMAN AND UDAYSHANKAR. BOTH DITCHED ME, THEY’VE TAKEN ALL MY MONEY,CLIENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE. WE MAAINLY CONCENTRATE ON BATHROOM AND KITCHENS TILING AND PLUMBING. I WANT A NEW NAME WHICH REFLECTS THE DUO TRAITORS. LUQ.US INTERIORS - IS THIS OKAY?

I bought the car 1 wk ago. I had a 27 point inspection and this wasn’t reported. The check engine light came on while driving it home (the owner probably had it reset), then I got a diagnostic test @ 2 different places.. “either o2 sensor or cat converter”.
Earlier I parked my car and got back in and something smelled weird. I pressed on the gas hard while going up a hill and it stalled. It stalled every 5 minutes under 20mph and took me 1 hour to get home (usual 20 min drive).

I have an oil burning range in the kitchen that presently heats the rads. I now want to put an solid fuel stove into my sitting room fireplace. The range and stove will be sitting back to back on kitchen and sitting room walls. The piping from the oil fired range in the kitchen passes up into a press to the left of the fireplace so the plumbing pipe work would be very minimal. Is it possible to inter-connect the whole system and alternate between using range or stove boiler to heat the house?

I bought both last week and ready to plant, however I was just informed of the damage cottonwoods can cause to the foundation of your home/ sidewalks/ plumbing! I love the tree and it’s a final sale. By the way its very immature and has lots of time to grow… Any advise?

My water heater isn’t even 2 yrs old. For the last 2 weeks we’ve been having to relight it numerous times. We have noticed a strange sound from inside it. It sounds like a drip falling down on something extremely hot and sizzling. Should we be hearing that? I thought the thermocouple needs replace but now with this “drip” inside the tank I’m wondering if there is something else wrong. Any suggestions?
