Our Therms Usage As Went From 8, 13, 67, 100 The Last Four Months. We Only Have A Gas Water Heater And Stove?

What could be the cause of this, the water heater is never running when I check it which is now 10 times a day at least. Im confused. The basement where the water heater is located is kept at about 60 degrees but i don’t think this could have an effect.
