My Former Landlord, Taken Me To Civil Court For $7,030.00 For Damages,and Personal Property Damages Or Taken.?

I moved in Dec,1 2007,landlord sons house and he is in jail, and when he gets out he will move to florida his other home, I stated to land lord that I would like to remain here at this home for the next five yrs or so due to moving from a former home of 6 yrs. being sold for that reason I would like for my children to make new friendships and graduate from this school district. well
Aug. 2008 I received a call that she wouldn’t renew the lease for Dec 1, 2008. because her son can not go to florida(probation) he wants his house back. I began a search immediately within school district, to keep my promise for my children, also a inspection of the home was completed on 8/29/08 with land lord and my self that we both signed and I do have a copy.so after I moved 12/1/08. her family was giving me such a hard time during my move, I was unable to go back in the home because of this -to clean,sweep up wipe down, but that couldn’t be done.it was filed 1/15/09.what can i do?
