What Is Causing My Kitchen Sink’s Hot Water Spigot To Suddenly Drop Pressure And Make Low Shaking Noises?
No other faucets in the house do this. Usually, I turn on the hot water on the kitchen sink and it starts out flowing fine, but within a minute or two the pressure suddenly drops and the sink starts to shake a little, accompanied by a low noise. The cold water does not do this, but I have noticed the cold water pressure in this sink varies considerably, sometimes great, sometimes more like a heavy trickle. The hot problem started happening several months ago, and we’ve owned the home 2 years. Were told all the plumbing was replaced right before we bought it. The kitchen sink is the closest faucet to the hot water heater (gas), so distance is not an issue. If I turn the hot off for a few minutes and turn it back on the pressure come back, but then returns to the trickle with the shaking. Sometimes I can get a longer period of hot without the problem if I only turn the faucet on half-way.

Check the washer in the hot water side. I had the same problem and it turn out to be the washer was loose.
Sounds like a restriction in your line somewhere. That will cause the high to low pressure drop and the noise and shaking you have described. It may be in your faucet, in the shut off stop under the sink or some debris caught in a joint of the water lines. Start at your faucet. Remove the aerator and check for debris. Tyhen remove the cartridge and check there. Check to make sure that the shut off under the sink is on all the way. You could also shut the water off to your house and take the spindle out of the stop and check there. Debris commonly enter the lines when new lines are installed. This is why the first time they are turned on you should remove aerators form the faucets to let the debris flush out. There is also the possibility that solder or glue from a join in the piping has collected enough to reduce the flow. But Id start with the minor troubleshooting measures first. There is Air getting into the pipes some where. Loose connection or they did not properly seal all the pipes.
could it be air in the pipe? i think a plumber bled one of our pipes one time cuz he noticed that. i’m not sure how you do that, but, maybe you could check online?????

Usually caused by washer or inner tap assy ,on tap, sticking. Quite a simple job
the problem is probably in the supply tube off the supply valve . shut the water off, and remove the supply tube. at this point check the valve by draping a rag over it and putting a pail under. if this isn’t it, something is floating around in the hot side of faucet, maybe washer debris etc. remove and clean, good luck
