What’s The Deal With My Hot Water?
The water in my upstairs bathroom had recently not been getting hot in the shower, the sink was fine as was the rest of the house. Well, my husband has a friend whom is a plumber that came out and pulled something that looked like a wooden golf tee out of the line and he replaced the cooper pipes and the faucet. Well, now there is no hot water coming out of the pipes in the upstairs and downstairs bathroom but the water in the kitchen and all of the sinks gets hot enough to scald you what’s the deal. We have a gas heater by the way but it is one that doesn’t have a pilot light.

you either have a valve that is turned off. a blocked or obstructed hot water line, or a frozen hot water line (note hot water pipes freeze before cold water pipes do). Thar gold tee looking thing might have been a faucet wrench or a basin wrench to remove the nuts holding on the faucet to the sink and the lines also
Sounds like the hot water line is turned off somewhere in your house. I would check the cellar to make sure they are all open.
The hot water knobs are usually colored red to make identification easier.
I have no clue about the golf tee thing, but check your shut off valves; he may not have turned them back on since it is now affecting two bathrooms.
